DRAFT

Not book reviews, just a list of books I read this year, with a short note after I finish them (maybe).

Fiction

Ice - Anna Kavan

I gave up part-way through. Was an interesting read that I may try again. Just a but surreal for my tastes at the time.

A scanner darkly - Philip K. Dick

Loved it. Dark, twisted, yet succeeds delivering something worthwhile. Totally recommend reading this.

Vurt - Jeff Noon

Interesting, strange, disturbing. Was good, but ultimately not really my thing. Nothing wrong with it, just left me wanting something more. May have been different if I hadn't read it so soon after A scanner darkly.

Mistborn Saga - Brandon Sanderson

Finally got into these. Love them.

The Expanse - James S.A. Corey

So glad I finally got around to reading these. Will finish the series next year.

Divine Cities - Robert Jackson Bennett

Got City of Stairs on a whim after seeing it referenced in a blog. More than worth the time. Novel idea, great execution. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
